SINOPSIS
Marta Nolan (Hiromi Oka) es una jovencísima jugadora de tenis del Colegio Nishi, el centro donde estudia la élite junior de los jugadores de tenis japoneses. Es una principiante, pero tiene grandes aptitudes y, lo que es más importante, una voluntad de hierro.
Jeremías O´Connor (Jin Munakata), el nuevo entrenador de tenis del Nishi, influirá decisivamente en su vida. Su labor le obligará a introducir grandes cambios en el club, cambiará radicalmente el esquema de los entrenamientos y reestructurará la composición del equipo femenino. Marta Nolan, una novata, será convocada por él para ocupar el puesto de titular para jugar los torneos interescolares. Sus compañeras de equipo, en especial Mme. Butterfly, el ídolo femenino de tenis del colegio, no sólo no van a entender la actitud de Jeremías, sino que van a culpar a Marta por ello, obligándola a encarar una situación de continuo ostracismo, llegando incluso a poner en duda la capacidad del entrenador [animerate]
