Curiosidades: Esta es la de Filmation (he-man), resulta que aparecieron dos series de los Cazafantasmas, a diferenciar ésta (the Original Ghostbusters) con la otra (The Real Ghostbusters, o los Autenticos Cazafantasmas).
El jaleo se origina pq en su dia 1975-, Filmation lanzó una serie de personas en EEUU llamada "Ghostbusters", y posteriormente Filmation la continuó con esta serie (la del mono), mientras que Columbia, que fue la que realizó las peliculas que todos conocemos -1984-, creó la suya propia basada en los personajes de la pelicula.

Filmation aprovechando el boom de las pelis de Columbia, saca la serie de dibujos del mono, que tras pleitos se queda con el nombre de "Original Ghostbusters" -1986
Columbia saca su propia serie de dibujos, basandose en los mismos personajes de la pelicula, que tras el pleito pasa a llamarse "The Real Ghsotbusters" -1986

Jake, Eddie y Tracey el Gorila son los cazafantasmas. Su cuartel general, llamada la Orden del Fantasma, está localizado en una gran mansión entre altos rascacielos. Están apoyados por numerosos personajes secundarios como Ansa-Bone (un teléfono parlante), Skelevision (un televisor parlante), Vampirin (un murciélago rosa con aspecto ligeramente a puerco), Cazacarcacha (un coche parlante) y ocasionalmente por Futura, una viajera del tiempo, y Jessica, una reportera local.
Juntos, han decido liberar al mundo del dominio de Premier Malvado y sus secuaces. El cuartel general se localiza en la quinta dimensión. En un episodio típico, Premier Malvado usa sus poderes mágicos para abrir un portal para que sus secuaces vayan a la Tierra a completar una misión para conquistar el mundo. [wikipedia]
